SmartDraw has a few different export options to make sharing your diagram easier.
To export your diagram, select the Home tab and click on Export.
You can:
- Export to Office (Generates Bitmap you can paste into Office apps)
- VSDX (Microsoft Visio 2013 and later)
- PDF (Portable Document Format)
- SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)
- PNG (Portable Network Graphics)
- JPEG
- SDR (SmartDraw's native file format)
Choosing to Export to Visio, PDF, SVG or PNG will generate a corresponding format.
And place it in your default Downloads directory.
If you choose to export to Office, please be sure to click “Copy to Clipboard”:
Then, open up an Office program such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. When you’ve got that opened up, click the Paste symbol at the top-left in your Home tab (looks like a clipboard).
