# Add a Gauge to Your Diagram
You can add a gauge to any diagram type from an infographic to a flowchart.
First, click on the **Plus** icon to switch your SmartPanel to the **Insert** **Content** view. Choose **Add Data Visualizer** and then click on **Gauge**.
Choose the type of gauge you want to insert:
There are two ways to adjust the values in your gauge.
You can do so from the **Data** view of the SmartPanel.
Switch to the **Data** view using the database icon in the **Left bar**, and click on **Data**.
Type in the new values to update your gauge.
You can also **double-click** the gauge or choose **Edit Gauge** from the **Gauge** menu on the SmartPanel **Insert Content** view.
You can update the current value, change the max or min value, even update the type of gauge displayed.
